Chris Masters

Co-Founder

Chris Masters has dual Angolan and British nationality, lived in Brazil, Mexico, Portugal and England, and currently resides in Angola.
​
He holds a Degree in Business Administration from the University of Bath, in the United Kingdom, and founded WEZA in April 2011, a design agency based in Luanda, specializing in high profile projects, mainly for the Government of Angola.
​
He owns a farm and his strong commitment to sustainable agribusiness is the result of his Post-Graduation in Strategy and Innovation at Oxford University, reinforced by an Intensive Course in Investments in Sustainable Agriculture at Columbia University in New York and a Post-Graduation in Agribusiness.
​
Chris is currently the Chairman of the UK-Angola Chamber of Commerce, and was invited by the British Embassy to join a working group focused specifically on Agribusiness in Angola. He is also the founder of the first Angolan Agribusiness Portal, www.agroportal.ao.
Vinicius Carvalho

Specialist marketing, communication and engagement, Vinicius de Carvalho is Portuguese-Brazilian, graduated from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil) and specialized in the Catholic University of Lisbon (Portugal). With over 20 years of experience in business and project development in Portugal, Brazil and Angola, for brands such as Sonae, Samsung, Red Bull, Renault, TAP, BetClic, VW, TAAG, Petrobrás, among others.

In the universe linked to agribusiness and sustainability, he has worked in marketing and communication projects for companies such as BR Foods, Vinícola Aurora, Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional, Cyrela, Zaffari Bourbon, AES Energia, Real Seguros, Unilever and Sogrape Vinhos.
Author of fundamental theses on customer engagement and endomarketing, he has participated in several events as a speaker on Engagement and Endomarketing, and still has numerous articles and content published and shared in the media and academic articles on these topics.
Alexandre Trabbold

Alexandre Trabbold holds a bachelor's degree in Law from Faculdade Metropolitanas Unidas de São Paulo (FMU-SP), worked at Banco do Brasil in the areas of foreign trade and commodities operations at the São Paulo Stock Exchange and Futures and later in the financial market in New York by Abacus Capital.

In 2002 he moved to Luanda, where he still lives, having been appointed by the Brazilian government as Director for Africa of the Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments (APEX-BRASIL) involved in the internationalization strategies of Brazilian companies to Africa.
​
His professional experience included more than 25 years of experience in international business development, with a focus on attracting foreign investments to emerging markets.
Alexandre is also a member of the advisory board of the Instituto Brasil África.
Teresa Freitas

Teresa belongs to the fourth generation of farmers in the Baixo Mondego region of Portugal and her heart has always been, and continues to be, linked to the countryside. She attended a degree in Communication Design and specialized in the training area.
In 2010 she participated in a business mission to Angola and since decided to invest heavily in the Angolan market, having moved to live there in 2011, where she was an advisor to the president of the Angolan Industrial Association for over 7 years.
Teresa actively participated in the creation of CLAA – The Luso-Angolan Chamber of Agriculture, the first bilateral chamber focused on the agri sector, where she is a member of the Installation Committee. She is also a delegate of AJAP – The Association of Young Farmers of Portugal in Angola.
Teresa is currently implementing the AgroMulher.ao project (Portuguese for AgroWoman), in parallel with other projects on agricultural incubators for young people.
